I will post a weekly and monthly advertising specific post starting in October 2019.
I will still post free posts on social media for local events and classes at my discretion. If you want to guarantee your event/class/news/business posted, then paying the advertising fee will accomplish that in most circumstances. (I hold the right to refuse any ad that is not relevant, in competition with, or not appropriate for my page).
Exposure:
My posts average around 800 to 2,500 page views on social media. Sometimes they go viral and reach up to 10,000 people. My Facebook page has over 4,000 followers with most setting their notifications to actually seeing my posts. My page provides a place for DFW home-schoolers to connect with one another and to discover great events and businesses that enrich their home-school lives and families.
About me:
I'm Melissa Neece. I'm a home-school mom with two Master's degrees - one in Education and one in Library Science. I love finding resources for local home-schoolers, which is why I've run the DFW Homeschool Connections Facebook page for the past four years. I've poured a lot of time, knowledge, research, and creativity into my page and have become many people's go-to resource for home-schooling advice and information. I expect this new effort to only further enhance my ability to serve families in the DFW area.
Package Descriptions:
The
Week Post - Home-school Based Advertisers will be featured in a weekly compilation
post, both on the website and on my social media. This is one post on
a certain day with a list of advertisers. This package includes
inclusion in three weekly compilation posts and the Monthly compilation post. Money is due by paypal the
Friday before (posts are usually on Sunday or Monday). $25 per month
The
Monthly Post - Home-school Based Advertisers will be featured in one LARGE post with other listings at the
end of each month. Money is due by paypal by the 29th of the month. $10 per month
The
Individual Post - This is a one-time post for an individual class or
event for home-schoolers. (This will not apply to on-going classes such as tutoring,
dance, or piano.) Money is due by paypal before the ad is posted. A
picture and relevant content must be provided. $25 each
Social Media Mention - A once a month compilation post with a mention of your facebook or other social media groups. It will include a short description. $3 per mention
Business Support for Home-school Parents - A once a month compilation post listing the businesses of homeschool parents so that we might support each other as home-schoolers. It will include a short description. This post includes any business - plumbing, mechanic, mlm, storefront, artisan, etc. $5 per business
Social Media Mention - A once a month compilation post with a mention of your facebook or other social media groups. It will include a short description. $3 per mention
