Free Organized Educational Videos - all in one place!

WatchKnowLearn has indexed approximately 50,000 educational videos, placing them into a directory of over 5,000 categories. The videos are available without any registration or fees to teachers in the classroom, as well as parents and students at home 24/7. Users can dive into the innovative directory or search for videos by subject and age level. Video titles, descriptions, age level information, and ratings are all edited for usefulness. The Web site invites broad participation in a new kind of wiki system, guided by teachers. WatchKnowLearn does not itself host videos—it serves as a library for links to excellent educational videos that have been selected by educators.

Cliburn Jr Piano Competition on June 25th

The Cliburn International Junior Piano Competition Concert will be June 25th at 12:30 p.m. in the Fort Worth Central Library Gallery. This is a free concert from some of the world's best 13-17 year old pianists. Cookies and water provided, you can bring a sack lunch.

What child or adult for that matter doesn't love an old fashion train - Learn the history of East Cleburne and it's railroad.

Homeschool artists (ages 0 - ??) display their artistic talents at Arts 5th Avenue, in Fort Worth's Historic Fairmount District. Artists may choose to sell their art, if they wish.

I am based in Tarrant County, so most of my posts will be more in that area.
